We are seeking a Class A truck driver to join our team at our Susanville, CA location. This position will be responsible for safely hauling material from pit to construction sites.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre/post inspection on trucks.
- Unload material at various job sites.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Ability to drive long hours, work overtime and nights and weekends.
- Extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration
- (OSHA) standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge of traffic laws and DOT Regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two-year experience preferred.
- Valid Class A License required and maintained.
- Clean driving record required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk on uneven ground, access heights, and climb in and out of trucks
- Ability to lift, pull, push 25-50 lbs
